As part of its second series of the Amani live called ‘Sunday Grooves Under the Baobab’, Amani Creatives in partnership with Brighter Sound and Community Arts North West is organising an open jam session around the African vibe on the 3rd of April 2016 at The Picture House – Band on the Wall from 4pm to 6:30
Sounds of Bata Drums ( Nigeria – Cuba ), Djembe, Kora (West Africa ), Thumb piano (Congo – Zimbabwe ), and chanting vocals are planned to set up the moods to get any participants to join in and bring to existence what does not exist yet.
Sounds seekers and art lovers are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity to get a taste of what is to come from May every first Sunday of the month at a same venue and time.

Musicians and artists of any genre and ability are welcomed to this unique experience.
Amani live is a series of showcases of live African music, story telling and spoken word, dance, drawing, food and more which are organised to support local ambitious artists who need opportunities to increase exposure, skills and employability.
